Sea Cadets ages 14 thru 18
To become a member of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Lake Guntersville Division you must have and maintain at least a 2.8 GPA, be free of drugs and be a non-smoker. The enrollment fees for the first year are $90.00*. This covers all your Uniforms and insignia.
*the initial enrollment fees may be made in installments, please talk to the Commanding Officer for arrangements.

Navy League Cadet Corps, ages 11 thru 14
The Navy League cadet Corps is or young men and women ages 11 thru 14, who are free of drugs, and tobacco of any form. The enrollment fees are $80.00* for the first year, and includes Uniforms and insignia. If you are between the ages of 11 ang 14 please Contact Lake Guntersville Division for more information.

The United States Naval Sea Cadet Officers Corps. In order to join the NSCC Officers Corps you must be over 21 years of age, free of any felony convictions and be willing to undergo a extensive background investigation. Prior military background is not required but is very helpful. The initial enrollment fees are set by the Commanding Officer on a case by case basis. 
Midshipmen are young people between the ages of 18 and 21. This young man or woman must be free of felony convictions, and drugs, and must posses a High School Diploma. Midshipmen also undergo a extensive background investigation. Initial Enrollment fees are set by the Commanding Officer on a case by case basis.
